APPLICATION FOR AFRICAN YOUTH TRANSFORMATION SUMMIT

The calls for applications for the African Youth Transformational Summit are now open. The VineYard Foundation with support from the Young Professional Development Program will host a three day Online Summit on October 8 - 10, 2020.

The AYTS brings together enterprising youths from across Africa working on a common goals of Africa development for prosperity. The event's goal is to provide a platform for a secure cyberspace awareness, leadership training, volunteer management strategies and organizational emotional intelligence practice.

The summit will increase the strategic plan of youth participation in community engagement actions for African transformation. The summit theme “Youth Engagement for Social Transformation” is the result when young people are involved in responsible leadership, challenging actions to create positive social change.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA

  • Participant must be at the age range 15-35 years
  • A citizen from any of the African Nations.
  • Passionate about using their skills to make positive impact in their community.
  • Can demonstrate leadership and collaborative skills with people.
  • Can demonstrate creativity, innovation and self-direction.
  • Ability to attend the online summit in its entirety through out the training duration and must be fluent in both oral and written English.
  • Interested in cyber-security, leadership, volunteerism, and organizational emotional intelligence for Africa sustainable development.

  • At the end of the entire training participants will be awarded with Certificate of participantion
  • Participants will be taking through the various forms of professional online training and have opportunity to network with likeminded leaders across Africa.

  • Application Open September 15, 2020
  • Application Close September 30, 2020
  • Notification of Selected Candidates for Interview: October 5, 2020
  • Summit Duration: October 8, - 9, 10, 2020
